OWLS player Jeremy Helan could still be suspended though he escaped being sent off for two yellow cards on Saturday, writes Paul Thompson.

The FA on Wednesday will consider the Huddersfield controversy where referee Mick Russell showed two cards to Helan but wrongly recorded the first one as being for Michail Antonio, so did not sent Helan off.

Possibly the FA will rule that the first booking concerned mistaken identity, in which case the rules would allow them to transfer it to Helan and order a one-match ban, which he would have received had he been sent off. But in the meantime he is free to play against Burnley tomorrow.
