DANNY Wilson, the Sheffield United manager, refused to be downhearted after his team was held to a goalless draw by Leyton Orient last night.

The result, which leaves United second in the League One table, stretched the Blades’ unbeaten run to five games but ended its four match winning streak.

Despite admitting he was “frustrated” by their failure to break the deadlock, with fellow promotion contenders Swindon, Yeovil Town and AFC Bournemouth all suffering defeats, Wilson said: “Nobody is more disappointed than the lads in the dressing room not to take three points. Myself included.

“But there are going to be no ‘negatives’ on my part. Not at this stage of the season. As far as I’m concerned, we’ve moved another point further ahead of some of those below us.

“And 13 out of 15 at this moment in time isn’t a bad return is it? If you’ve have offered me that a while ago then I’d have definitely taken it.

“People can be as positive or as negative as they want to be and I’m going to be positive.”
