Doncaster Knights star Tyson Lewis has claimed one of rugby union’s fastest ever tries, after touching down after just EIGHT seconds last weekend.
Lewis’ sensational score was timed at just 8.13 seconds, as Knights beat Old Albanians 33-17.
In 2008 Lee Blackett scored for Leeds against Newcastle after 8.28 seconds, but the RFU have only one try quicker on record. In 2008, Sutton & Epsom RFC scrum half Steve Munford touched down in just 7.5 seconds in an Incentive FM Surrey Cup semi-final.
