UTILITY player Oli Goss is the latest Doncaster Knights’ star to put pen to paper on a new contract.

Goss originally signed for the club as a scrum-half several seasons ago, but has since played in several positions.

Goss was drafted in as an outside centre in the second half of last season Goss and impressed with his ability to make a break.

“Finding a role in the centres towards the end of last season enabled me to play more rugby,” he said.

“But I’m here to do a job in whatever role Brett Davey (director of rugby) needs from me.

“As I‘ve shown over the years I‘ll give it my best shot in any position, whatever the club needs from me”

Said Davey: “Capturing the signature of Oli Goss is especially pleasing for me because he is a young player I’ve seen develop over the past two seasons and I believe he has further quality to develop further.

“Oli gives us cover in a number of positions, but he has put his hand up to be a first choice player over the last few months and I’m sure he won’t give up that position without a fight”.

Knights have announced that there will be no increase in price on 2011/12 RFU Championship season tickets. Details on www.drfc.co.uk.
