Rotherham Titans begin the season with a tough trip to London Scottish on Saturday.

And while the Titans are looking to at least match last season’s finish in the play-off places, hosts Scottish are one of the clubs confident of breaking into the top four.

The Exiles finished fifth last season, some 14 points behind the Titans.

Mike Friday’s side are looking to iron out the inconsistencies which plagued them last term in order to make a challenge for promotion.

Exiles winger Miles Mantella said: “It’s always a good game with Rotherham.

“They were really well drilled last season and we expect exactly the same this year.

“They like to play an expansive game so hopefully it’ll be a good game for fans to watch.”
