SHEFFIELD TIGERS travel to a resurgent Hull RUFC on Saturday, if weather permits the National League 2 North fixture to go ahead.
Hull, after a topsy turvy start to the season, have won four out of their last five.
And last time out they scored seven tries in a 49-24 win at Stockport. Tigers are in fifth place compared to Hull’s 11th in the 16-team division.
But that position may count for little as Tigers have been on the slide, losing their last four. They haven’t won since a 29-23 road win at Otley on November 10.
The club were particularly disappointed by their 31-12 home defeat by Darlington Mowden Park, last Saturday.
The club has talked about the need to ‘regroup’ before Saturday’s game and a further trip to Preston Grasshoppers.
Sheffield RUFC host Cleckheaton in North 1 East.
They are hoping for a positive response to the 48-15 defeat by Beverley last weekend.
