At least 10 Rotherham players will make their debuts for Titans in Wednesday’s pre-season game against Premiership club Worcester Warriors.
Rotherham’s new coach Lee Blackett will pick what he considers to be his strongest squad which will include, among the new signings, two former Titans who have rejoined the Clifton Lane side.
Centre Juan Pablo Socino from Argentina, who left Rotherham at the end of the 2010-11 season having become the club’s record points scorer for a season with 278,will make his come-back as will Samoan forward Alfie Tooala who re-signed earlier this week.
It is also expected that two Irish players, winger Michael Keating,ex-Doncaster,and full back Shaun Scanlon who was signed from Leinster, will start at Worcester.
Blackett, who has appointed fly half Garry Law as club captain, regards the game as essential preparation.
