As Rotherham Titans prepare for their last home match of the Championship season against Leeds Carnegie tomorrow (3pm), coach Andre Bester is also working flat out recruiting new players for next season.

The South African has used the last fortnight, when the Titans have not had a game in the play-offs, to strengthen his squad for the 2012-13 campaign.

Titans are expected to announce the identities of the new players in the next fortnight or so.

The match squad of 22 for the play-offs derby against Leeds will, it is thought, be similar to the one which lost 17-14 to Cornish Pirates before Easter.

Rotherham will be determined to finish their home campaign in style and with a win.

Tomorrow’s game is the fourth in the Championship this season between the two sides. Rotherham have won two including a 20-3 away triumph in round two of the play-offs, arguably their best performance of the season.

Both teams are struggling in Pool B of the play-offs.
