Rotherham Titans, without a game this weekend, resume training on Monday in preparation for one of the most important games in the Championship so far - next Saturday’s clash at Clifton Lane against Bristol.
The game between two of the sides aiming to finish in the top four, therefore in the promotion play-offs, is such an attraction that Sky will be broadcasting it live with a 4.45pm kick.
This is the first time in Rotherham’s history that a match has been screened live from Clifton Lane and Titans are expecting an above average crowd despite the fact it will be on tv.
It’s means an exciting time for new signing, centre Jordan Davies, to be arriving at the club.
“ I’ve had a great few days, I was made really welcome and it’s helped that I know some of the players, like Ed Williamson, Curtis Wilson, Mark Tampin and Alex Rieder, from my loan spell at Leeds in 2012,” he said.
“ That’s when I first got to know Rotherham’s coach Lee Blackett. I’m now looking forward to playing regularly, that’s my goal.”
