Sheffield Tigers director of rugby Dan Richmond has challenged his young squad to continue pushing one another on the training pitch, insisting a change in fortune is just around the corner.
Tigers lost 31-21 at Chester, one of the SSE National League Two North surprise packages, their fourth consecutive defeat leaving them rock bottom.
The Tigers have yet to even pick up a losing bonus point from the opening four games but Richmond is confident his players are capable of turning things around if they can produce a high standard of rugby for the full 80 minutes.
“We are disappointed with the result but Chester are a very good outfit and they have recruited well,” said Richmond .
Tigers visit Leicester Lions on Saturday. They have won two and lost two including a 23-16 loss to Preston Grasshoppers on Saturday.
