SHEFFIELD Tigers are six points adrift of the sixth placed team in their division after losing 27-15 at Bromsgrove.

Tigers were honest enough to admit their weaknesses.

The club website said they nearly did enough to ensure a losing bonus point but “after a very indisciplined performance would have probably been a bit of a travesty. The number of errors and turnovers contributed to their own downfall but the home side forwards were far superior on the day and deserved their victory.” Tigers host Dudley Kingswinford on Saturday.

Sheffield RUFC earned a 20-11 at Middlesbrough and are fourth in North 1 East League. They host Keighley at the weekend. Second placed Wheatley Hills go to Middlesbrough.
