STRONG-running centre PJ Gidlow is the latest Doncaster Knights’ star to commit to the Castle Park club for next season.
Gidlow proved a real fans’ favourite during his first season at the Championship club prior to breaking his arm in the must-win British & Irish Cup Pool D defeat at Ayr late in the campaign.
New director of rugby, Brett Davey, who worked under Lynn Howells for the last two seasons prior to taking over the top job at the start of the month, is delighted to have Gidlow back on board again next season.
He feels that Gidlow has far more to offer the team than being used a ‘battering ram.’
“PJ is a good footballer,” he told The Star. “He’s got good feet and a good pair of hands. I want to take his game to another level next season.
