HARD-working Irish flanker Zack Farivarz, who won himself a 12-month deal last summer after impressing in trial games, is the latest Doncaster Knights’ player to commit to another season at Castle Park.
Farivarz’s defensive attriubutes and work rate saw him battle his way into Knights’ match day squad and then claim a starting spot as the season developed.
“You never know how things are going to go in sport,” said the back-rower, “but I made the decision to put my head down and work hard.
“I’ve shown what I can do in a Knights’ jersey and I intend to keep up the same level of work and intensity whenever I pull that jersey on next season.”
Said new director of rugby, Brett Davey: “I liked the idea that Zack came over (from Dublin) and worked hard to get a chance to play for Doncaster. It shows a spirit and commitment I want in a player.
“Having seen him develop over the last season gives me confidence that he can develop further as a player and be an even bigger influence next season”.
