SHEFFIELD Tigers hope to exorcise the humiliation of their heaviest defeat in National Two North, this weekend.

Last Saturday, they were pasted 39-0 at top of the league Stourbridge. Tigers admit they “were outpaced and out thought...for the first time this season Tigers saw what they need to do to move forward into a higher league.”

On Saturday, they hope to make ground on the team directly above them . They host sixth placed Leicester Lions (3pm) seeking their 14th win in 25 attempts.

In North One East, Sheffield travel to Malton and Norton, hoping to improve on their fifth place in the division. Beverley lead that league by 21 points.

Yorkshire Divison One sees Dinnginton at Ikley, Wath Upon Dearne at Scarborough and Barnsley at Old Brodleians.

There is an interesting derby in Divison Two: leaders Doncaster Phoenix travel to fourth place Sheffield Medicals.
