Jet-heeled Paul Jarvis has winged in at Castle Park to become Clive Griffiths’ latest new recruit.
The 24-year-old winger, renowned for his pace with ball in hand, has joined Doncaster after leaving National One rivals Coventry.
Jarvis represented England and Great Britain student sevens at the 2010 World University Rugby Championships and has also featured for Premiership side Gloucester Rugby in the JP Morgans sevens series.
He spent four years at the prolific Hartpury College, achieving three promotions during his time there.
“We have recruited Paul to add pace, power and energy to our team and back division,” said director of rugby Clive Griffiths.
“He comes to us after earning his stripes at Hartpury and our league rivals Coventry and I look forward to him reproducing his previous try-scoring feats for us.”
Jarvis, who can also play at full back, also has a Barbarians cap to his name.
Winger Tyson Lewis, meanwhile, has re-signed for another year.
“I don’t think he completely reached his true potential last season, I believe we can unlock it this year,” said Griffiths.
“Tyson was eager to stay and fight for promotion. We expect a big season from him.”
