Carter set for warm
DONCASTER Knights first home Championship game of the season against Moseley, will see an early return to Castle Park for former fans' favourite Anthony 'Shaggy' Carter.
Last season's club captain, Carter was one of a number of familiar faces to leave the club during the summer and he linked up with the Birmingham club.
One of the most popular figures in recent Knights' history, the full-back is assured of a warm welcome by fans and players alike.
Carter's duel with Steve McCall, who pushed him hard for the No 15 shirt last season, promises to be one of the highlights of the game,
In a bizarre twist Ed Styles, who signed for Knights last season on loan from Sale Sharks, but never played, could be making his debut at Castle Park playing for the opposition.
Styles started the game for Moseley in their 29-17 opening day defeat at home to promoted Esher.
