Wardman leads Armthorpe to victory
BILL Wardman (21-6) starred for Armthorpe in their 199-157 Saturday League Premier Section win over Thorpe Marsh Bentley.
Ross Meese (21-8) caught the eye for Tickhill in their 186-156 win over Pilks Recreation.
Peter Floyd's 21-8 win was not enough for Wickersley as David Abel (21-9) won the match (182-175) for league leaders Roundwood.
Denise Green (21-9) and John Humphrey (21-8) did well for Eden Grove-Pegler but Brodsworth won their Section A match 181-171 thanks to a 21-7 win from Keith Sykes.
Brian Stubbs (21-6), Alan Brown (21-7), Royce Dunhill (21-3) and Norman Brown (21-7) all performed well for Adwick B in their 200-128 Section B win over Armthorpe B.
Rossington had good wins from Ray Porter (21-5), Ian Wilson (21-6), Percy Simpson (21-8) and Carl Sanders (21-3) when beating Mexborough B 196-124.
Ken Waddington (21-5) and Alan Beasley (21-9) featured for Roundwood in their 209-143 win over Adwick.
Pam Morgan (21-4), Pat Lees (21-5) and Cyril Brown (21-7) were the best winners for Eden Grove-Pegler B in 203-135 Section C clash.
Len Watson (21-9) gave Westfield Park B a good start, but Steve Fill and Peter Lawrence (both 21-9) and Eddie Hailes (21-6) helped Hexthorpe B win the match 195-152.
Terry Bunclarke (21-8) and Dave Concannon (21-7) showed up well for Roundwood C in their 198-148 win over Parkland B.
Bert Moody (21-7) was the best winner for Bentley Colliery in their 185-141 victory over Bawtry B.
Terry Brelsford won 21-3 for Westfield Park B, but wins from Dave Concannon (21-6) and Kath Cobb (21-5) gave Roundwood C the spoils.
