Rovers' list of transfer targets

DONCASTER Rovers have complied an extensive list of potential targets as the summer transfer window prepares to swing open in earnest. Earlier this week Richard O'Kelly, Rovers' assistant manager, revealed the Championship club's coaching staff were actively pursuing several lines of enquiry.

And Mickey Walker, director of football at the Keepmoat Stadium, has also confirmed they are attempting to cover every eventuality.

"Sean (O'Driscoll) has got a list of players, I've got a list of players and so has the chief scout," he said.

"We've sat down to discuss these lists of players and discussing the possibilities more than anything."

Although Rovers manager O'Driscoll has refused to shed any light on his plans, Leeds midfielder Neil Kilkenny is known to have come under microscope.

Simon Grayson, his counterpart at Elland Road, would prefer to keep the 23-year-old.

Roger Johnson's 5m move from Cardiff to Birmingham City could be the catalyst for several big money moves if Dave Jones looks to flex his new-found financial muscle.

Nottingham Forest are confirmed admirers of Rovers' Matt Mills but have also approached Blackpool about the possibility of signing Shaun Barker; a situation which suggests O'Driscoll is winning the battle for the centre-half's services.
