Probert's four make it bleak for Bawtry; sub Darren is Carcroft winner

EDLINGTON Rangers claimed a surprise 3-1 Premier Division derby win at Edlington Town.

James Cheswick, Michael Creighton and Peter Walmsley were on target for Rangers with Chris Colley replying.

Leaders Swinton Station Athletic were held to a 1-1 draw by lowly South Elmsall United.

Steve Lynam found the net for Athletic in the first half, with visiting goalkeeper John McDermott pulling off some superb saves before Lance Walsh grabbed an equaliser.

Three goals in each half gave Sutton Rovers a 6-1 home triumph over South Kirkby Colliery.

There was a brace for Ryan Walker, with Mitchell Wain, Darren Smith, Luke Chambers and Adam O'Shea also netting. Andy Burton claimed the Colliery consolation.

Lee Drobac bagged a brace for FC Thorne Town in their 3-2 win over Yorkshire Main. Glynn Powell also netted for the winners with Robbie Earl and Chris Hoff sharing out the Main goals.

Mexborough Pocket suffered a setback when they went down 2-1 at home to Doncaster Deaf. Kyle Takacz claimed their goal with John Atkinson and Gareth Denmead netting for the winners.

Kinsley Boys beat Askern Villa 3-1 with all the goals coming in the second half.

Reece Hicks put Boys ahead with Adam Wisdom equalising with a penalty. Tom Clarke and Luke Chestney both added further goals to assure Kinsley of the spoils.

A four-goal haul by John Probert set Hemsworth Alpha on their way to a 5-1 success over Bawtry Town. Alan Billington also chipped in with a goal. Jamie Greenwood scored the Town consolation.

A hat-trick by Daniel Rollin helped Upton Brookside beat ISG Doncaster 6-2 in their Division One KO Cup tie. Luke Smith, David Sephton and Shaun Crawford shated out the rest of the goals.

Substitute Darren Theodore snatched the decider for Carcroft Village in their 4-3 at Ackworth United in Division One clash.

Dan Barnes, Shaun Thompson and Alan Foley, were the other Village marksmen, Jamie Bouskill, Andrew Wilson and Stuart Gordon, replied for United.

An own goal failed to ease Adwick Park Rangers' disappointment at going down 4-1 at home to Swinton Station.

Mark Clare got a hat trick for the visitors with Ryan Morton also being on target.

There was joy for Bawtry Town Reserves when they overcame FC Tavern 4-2.

Lee Isaacs, Damon Anderson, David Fisher and Thomas Woolford got the Bawtry goals, with Kevin Marshall replying twice.

Spoils were shared (2-2) when South Kirkby Travellers took on Woodland Rhinos.

Ricky Gaskell claimed both Travellers' goals with Michael Ashworth and Tom Costello putting Woodlands on terms.
