DONCASTER will be without influential stand-off Craig Fawcett in Sunday’s testing Championship One clash against Whitehaven at the Recreation Ground.

“Craig’s a teacher and he taking a group of kids skiing,” said Dons boss Tony Miller. “It was something that I knew about and the plan was to play Aaron Dobek there, but he picked up an ankle injury in his first game back following a close-season shoulder operation and he’s still out.

“It’s unfortunate but we’ve got Paul Hughes, who can play there, back from honeymoon. We’ve also got the other three lads who went away at the same time, back.

“Full-back Mick Butterfield is also back after recovering from the leg injury which kept him out of the last game a fortnight ago.

Winger Dean Colton is also available again after missing the Rochdale game with a stomach bug.

Miller is sweating on the availability of Hull loan pair Nev Morrison and Chris Green, both on standby for the Super League game at Catalan Dragons.
