Eagles delay Lane switch

SHEFFIELD Eagles have put back their move to Sheffield United's ground because of work on the pitch.

The Eagles will play their first game at Bramall Lane against Featherstone Rovers on Sunday April 11.

The game against Dewsbury Rams is likely to be switched to Friday March 19 at Don Valley with a 7.30pm kick-off.

The other game affected is the visit of Barrow, scheduled for Monday April 5. The clubs have already agreed to switch fixtures with the game being played at Barrow at 3pm. The return will be played at Don Valley on Sunday June 27, kick-off 3pm.

Eagles' chief executive and head coach Mark Aston said: "As planned we will still be playing the majority of our home Championship games at Bramall Lane this season."
