Coach Mark Aston wishes that Sheffield Eagles game against Keighley Cougars had ended at half-time.
A spell of sparkling rugby produced four tries to seal the win and put the bid for the league title back on track.
In the final 40 minutes. in spite of two more tries, the fizz went out of the Eagles game as they completed a 34-10 win.
“Defensively we were pretty sound and we kept Keighley where we wanted them to play the game because when they were camped on our line they had a threat,”” he said.
“”The first half we were certainly in control and our completions were something like 70 per cent and I wish the referee had blown the whistle for the end of the game then.”
