WE don’t have a game this weekend but entertain top-of-the-table Swinton Lions on Easter Monday (3pm).
It is going to be really tough game as Swinton seem to be the team to beat - which no team has achieved in Championship One to date, so we know we have a real battle on our hands.
We have lost our last couple of games but credit to the lads for the way they performed up at Whitehaven - which is a very difficult place to go and win - playing all the way to the final whistle and getting the bonus point right at the end.
It was a game that we could have won with a bit more composure as we had a great deal of the ball.
We just needed to keep calm when we get in a scoring position.
We lost Jamie Bovill, who picked up a five-match ban, last Thursday.
It was a bit harsh on the lad in view of all the other things you see going on in games and the punishment handed out is nowhere near as bad.
We seem to be having a rough time with the disciplinary panel of late which isn’t to good and is something we are trying to address.
To the bunch of fans who travelled up to Whitehaven thanks for the support.
We all appreciated it and tried to show you that by us all coming over at the end of the match.
Hopefully we will give you all something to cheer about in the next few matches.
