DONS head coach Tony Miller is demanding an immediate response from his players when they head to rock bottom Gateshead on Sunday.

After a fortnight’s break to rest and recuperate, Doncaster play their final Championship One match of the season at Gateshead, who have yet to taste victory in the 2011 campaign.

And, after losing 37-7 last time out to Workington Town, Miller is seeking a positive reaction from his squad.

Miller said: “It was probably the worst we have played all year at home to Workington. We didn’t turn but fair play to them; they played very well. We have now got a chance to put it right.

“We had a bad day at the office but we can’t change that now. We have written it off and we are looking for a positive response this weekend.

“We just want to win at Gateshead, perform well and give ourselves a bit of confidence going into the play-offs. We should not get beaten but our attitude has got to be right on the day. It is not a foregone conclusion we will go there and win.”
