Tony Miller insists there will be no talk of Sheffield Eagles until Monday for his Dons side.
The Dons are due to meet their South Yorkshire rivals next Friday night in the semi final of the Northern Rail Cup.
And although head coach Miller is confident his men can end the Eagles’ 13 match winning run and reach the final, he has banned talk of the game until after the trip to Keighley Cougars tomorrow.
“We’ve got a massive game with Sheffield coming up but the game at Keighley is a big one as well,” Miller said.
“We’ve been on an excellent run of form recently and I feel like the lads have finally adapted to life in the Championship.
“On Sunday we have the chance to put some real daylight between ourselves and the bottom of the table.
“Then we can start looking up towards the top eight and the play-offs.
“And the Northern Rail Cup of course.”
The clash between the Dons and the Eagles has been confirmed for Doncaster Athletics Stadium, adjacent to the Keepmoat, for a 7.30pm kick off on Friday.
The Dons’ usual Keepmoat home is still undergoing pitch renovation to be ready for the start of the new football season.
