Paul Cooke has warned he won’t stand for any ‘Billy Big Time’ behaviour from his Hull FC loan signings - or they’ll be sent straight back to the Black and Whites.

Doncaster announced a dual registration partnership with the Super League side last week, enabling the Dons to borrow the best of Hull’s up-and-coming players.

Dons’ similar link-up last season with Wakefield ended acrimoniously in a row about player availability and selection.

But new player coach Cooke has vowed to take a tough stance from the outset.

“There will be no attitude problems, and anyone who does have an attitude problem will be immediately sent back,” he said.

“Nobody wants to see players stuck on the sidelines not getting any playing time.

“We want players to come to us and play good rugby with the right attitude.

“If they do that it can give them the opportunity to impress and hopefully go on to break into Super League.

“If players come into the team and don’t perform, I will not be afraid to leave them out.

“We already have a great squad with very capable players.

“The dual registration is not a personal gain to make the Doncaster squad as strong as possible,” he added.

“It is something that can hopefully provide a platform and develop the players into the best they can be.

“It is my job is to get these players ready for Super League, liaise with [Hull FC coach] Lee Radford and create local superstars of the future.”
