Cracker Khan in run spree
PARKLANDS romped to a crushing eight-wicket win over Doncaster & Sheffield Alliance Cricket League Division One rivals Sheffield Civil Service.
No 3 Khalil Khan, who hit 14 fours and a six, in an unbeaten 78, and No 4 Graham Langford (29 not out) steered Parklands to a match-winning 120-2.
Carl Davies had earlier taken 4-20 and Eric Hibbling (3-13) in the visitors' 117.
Bawtry beat Doncaster rivals Bullcroft Main by 42 runs in their Division Two clash.
No 5 Komail Abbas (24) top-scored for the visitors in their 134 all out - Andrew Geddes taking 5-21.
Main never recovered from being 19-5, and despite spirited knocks by Steve Denton (29) and Stephen Hutchinson (24), were all out for 92. Lee Brooks took 4-36 and junior Ryan Hobson 3-14.
Adwick-on-Dearne crashed off the Solly Sports Doncaster League Cup trail at the quarter-final stage when going down by nine wickets at home to Wath thirds.
An unbeaten second-wicket partnership between junior Sam Drury (44 not out) and No 3 David Haywood (50 not out) saw Wath home in the 28th over.
Adwick had earlier made 137-7 with No 3 David Burrows (29), skipper Paul Jordan (28) and Rob Lee (26 not out) sharing the honours.
Bullcroft Main also bowed off the Cup trail when going down by six wickets at home to Kilnurst.
Put into bat, Main collapsed from 40-1 to 109 all out despite a useful 45 by No 3 Andrew Exley. Matthew Vickerage took 2-21 in Colliery's reply of 110-4 in 26.1 overs.
Hampole & Skelbrooke received a walkover when Whiston Meths conceded.
