Amanda's half marathon win
DONCASTER Athletic Club's Amanda Crundall showed rivals a clean pair of heels when winning the Humber Bridge half marathon womens' race on Sunday.
Said the 32 year-old heart failure nurse practitioner, who has just started work Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham, "I'm very proud to win it in the area of my new place of work.
"The atmosphere was brilliant. It's one I won't forget."
Steve Bateson (East Hull Harriers) won the race in 71 minutes and 45 seconds.
