BRITISH number one Shelley Rudman claimed the bronze medal in the penultimate round of the skeleton bobsleigh World Cup yesterday.

The 30-year-old, who lives in Sheffield, finished third in Canada to bring her just seven points from series leader Marion Thees, of Germany, who was fifth. The title will be decided in Calgary next week.
