Askern had good wins from George Blenkinsop (21-8), Archie Faulkner (21-4) and Dennis Reilly (21-5) when beating Hexthorpe 192-140. Bawtry B beat Roundwood B 204-165.
Vic Greenfield won 21-8 for Denaby, but Jim Pickford and Brian Hardy won by the same score for Eden Grove-Peglers with teammate Mick Poppleton (21-7) going one better in their 184-139 victory.
Mick Coulson (21-7) continued his unbeaten Saturday League form for Parklands in their 188-173 Section C win over Wickersley.
Ron Strutt (21-2) featured for Bentley Colliery in their 187-137 Section D win over Westfield Park B, for whoom Frank Potts won 21-8.
Carol Raven (21-5) won the match (180-173) for Adwick B at home to Bawtry B.
Last man Matthew Griffiths won 21-7 for Bentley Colliery in their 198-171 victory over Parklands B.
Louise Walker (21-8) gave Brodsworth B an early lead, but Harvesters rallied through Terry Lisle (21-3) and Graham Kendell (21-9) to win the match 188-139. Alan Marsden (21-2), Don Borthwick (21-3) and Dave Matthews (21-6) enjoyed good wins for Hexthorpe B in their 165-133 victory while visitors Pensioners had good results from Tommy Parker (21-3) and David Wright (21-9).
Eric Bubb’s 21-6 win for Westfield Park B was countered by Colin Harris (21-8) and Roy Thompson (21-9) for Rossington B, who ran out 190-148 winners.
