Georgia Davenport led City of Sheffield Diving Club’s challenge at the International Trophy in Barcelona with a double gold medal haul.
She topped the podium in both the girls 14/15 years 1 metre springboard and platform events. Clare Cryan, a fellow member of the British junior diving squad, took gold in the girls 16+ 1 metre springboard competition and was the silver medallist on the 3 metre springboard.
The competition attracted most of the top British diving clubs and divers from across Europe. Freddie Woodward, another GB Junior, was the most successful male diver. He picked up silver medals in the 16+ 1 metre and 3 metre springboard events. In the same events, James Milton secured bronze medals. Ross Haslam also won two medals, a silver on the 14/15 years 1 metre springboard and a bronze on platform.
Good performances were also recorded by Natalie Thornton, Catriona Fraser, Jade Semper, Millie Haffety, Ashton Hall, Max Etherton, Elliot Beeden, and Jordan Houlden.
