Having read Les Paynes article in The Star Friday 13th Feb is he having a laugh?
I thought James Shield was the one with the red tainted glasses, but reading Payne going on about Wednesday fans excuses beggars belief.
Yes, the club did mention Reading and the coach journey, was that not a dig at the old hierarchy hence travelling on the train to Palace.
Did Kevin Blackwell himself not blame the fact that they played at Southampton last week, couldn't get home and couldn't train for the Wednesday match, not that Owls players could do much in that weather either!
Wednesday fans have got into a' just get on with it mode' while Blades are so far up themselves, still thinking they are Premiership, bringing me to the best excuse of all, lets blame relegation on Tevez and West Ham, when there was only one reason for relegation, their players weren't good enough, they didn't win enough matches, its not hard is it? So don't talk about excuses because United are the masters.
