Mixed hopes for skeleton pair

Have your say

SHEFFIELD-based bob skeleton couple Kristan Bromley and Shelley Rudman are in action today and tomorrow at the World Cup in La Plagne, France.

Bromley, who was World Champion in 2008 is confident of a good performance.

He posted on Twitter last night: “Final day of training in La Plagne over. Hope my legs work tomorrow! Going to be a great race in a very challenging track. Well I am all prepped and ready to race tomorrow at 9am France time. Let’s hope Curve 15 looks after me tomorrow - unlike today!”

However, Rudman, who won a silver medal at the 2008 Winter Olympics in Turin, is still feeling the effects of a crash during practice on Tuesday.

She posted on Twitter: “I can officially confirm I am having a bad year and I don’t like this track... Roll on 2012!”
