HUSAYN Rosowsky hopes to be fit for the fencing team event on Sunday after injury wrecked his singles plans.
The 21-year-old from Sheffield lost to Tunisian Mohamed Samandi, ranked two places lower than him at 58th in the world, 15-8 after suffering a thigh injury midway through the fight.
He said: “I had a bit of a hamstring injury, it happened about a week ago, but didn’t think it would bother me. That’s the way things go in sport. Hopefully it’s fine for Sunday.”
