STEELERS hope to attract their biggest attendance in over a year, with around 7,000 expected, on Sunday.
They host Nottingham Panthers in their first, home league clash of the season. In a cup game against them at Sheffield Arena last month, more than 6,000 attended.
Three straight defeats against their rivals has seen Sheffield fans thirsty for revenge. Coach Ryan Finnerty said: “Tickets are flying out. Our fans aren’t just expecting a game, they are demanding a win.”
