Gerad Adams is braced for recruitment raids on his title-winning team during the Summer.
The Sheffield Steelers coach, who saw his side lose the Play Off final to Coventry last Sunday, is aware of teams in this country and elsewhere looking with interest at his roster.
Some will be ambitious to move on - while others will play the market and see what offers come in.
“Most of the players are without contracts” said Adams, “there are a lot of variables in getting players signed-back.
“I will be meeting the players over the next day or so to get their feedback. And then see where they stand and go from there. It’s tough when you get a team like we have - a real championship side and a league title - to get it all back is incredibly hard. I think there will be some change, every team in our league is in the same boat, where there will be some change.”
Meanwhile, club captain Jonathan Phillips has revealed how Adams challenged the side in the dressing room after they’d gone 4-0 down.
“After the second period ‘G’ said we can either give up and bury our heads or try and get something from this game and let’s see if we can make a comeback.
“We have done those comebacks before and I think we tried a never-say attitude and that’s what we have done all season. Third period we threw everything at them and went for it.”
Phillips said: “It is disappointing whatever cup you go out of. I am not going to lie, it hurts.
“It is a great trophy to win and it makes you want to come back next year and put yourself in the situation to win that again.”
