Sheffield Steelers can celebrate a four point weekend, for only the second time this season.
A narrow League win over bottom club Fife Flyers followed Saturday’s Challenge Cup victory in Hull.
Jeff Legue, Rob Sirianni and Stefan Meyer scored for the Arena team, this evening,.
But they struggled to put the struggling, but gallant Scots, to bed.
It was a low key event, but at least it represented two wins on the bounce.

The Sheffield Steelers centreman assisted on Drew Fata’s winning goal at Hull Stingrays in the Challenge Cup.
His point means he has collected 500 EIHL since joining Sheffield, a spectacular personal achievement.
Tonight, Hull had gone ahead on the Power Play, after seven minutes, Carl Lauzon netting.
Six minutes into the second period Rob Sirianni levelled, and shortly afterwards Hull Arena produced a minute’s applause in the 27th minute for number 27 Jereme Tendler, who was making his 200th appearance for the club.
The applause was gone when Fata got the winner on 41;13.
Stingrays defenceman Jamie Chilcott was ejected for cross-checking from behind at 53.34.
