Sheffield Steeldogs suffered twin defeats in their opening league weekend, going down 4-3 to Telford at home then losing 5-3 at Peterborough.
Dogs were four goals down against moneybags Telford, but fought back to within a whisker of levelling.
Goaltender Sedlar was pulled for a last gasp push.
In Peterborough, Dogs conceded a crazy goal. Their website reported: “Peterborough opened the scoring when a deflected shot came back on the ice having hit the lights. Dogs defence with Jason Buckman getting the final touch. Despite picking the evidence off the ice, the officials stood by their call.”
