Samurai finish on a high
THE youngsters of Sheffield Samurai junior ice hockey club, pictured right, ended their globe-trotting season with success.
They rounded off their unbeaten season by winning the Sheffield tournament at ice Sheffield.
Teams from across Great Britain take part in two competitions and Samurai beat off stiff opposition to win both.
Last month the under-10s, with players as young as six, won the National Championship to add to the league title and Midlands Shield. It means Sheffield Ice Hockey Academy boasts champions at the youngest and oldest junior levels.
The youngsters have also competed in New York and Holland.
