sHEFFIELD STEELERS shut out Fife Flyers 3-0 - further proof nobody at the House of Steel is giving up on the Elite League title, writes Bob Westerdale.

The damage was done in the first 13 minutes

Scott Champagne was first on the scoreboard after being set up by linemantes Tylor Michel and Jeff Legue (7:36.)

On 13;06, Steve Goertzen added to his recent goal bonanza, from Chris Frank and Simon Ferguson.

The game was wrapped up at 28;10, when Lee Esders scored a rare goal, again with Goertzen featuring.

Goaltender John DeCaro stopped nine shots in the final period to ensure a clean sheet.

Michel took a Fighting-Major penalty aftr a dust-up with d-man Derek Keller.

Steelers will be chasing a similar result win, when they host Hull Stingrays.
