FORMER Sheffield Steeldogs star Janis Ozolins will line up against Steelers tonight, after signing for Challenge Cup quarter final opponents Dundee Stars.
Dundee coach Jeff Hutchins signed the 23-year-old Latvian forward from Hull Stingrays who released him this week.
Coach Hutchins said: “Janis is a skilful player and I’m hoping that the move to Dundee will help him find his scoring touch again.
“We’ve got a run of big conference games ahead and having Janis on board until the end of the season gives us a bit of cover for injuries too.”
Stars will be aiming to protect a 4-2 lead from the first leg, six days ago.
Sheffield will be hoping for an early goal to help tackle the deficit and calm the nerves of the crowd.
