GB set up a medal winning game against Poland on Saturday after a 5-2 victory over Lithuania.
The first period saw GB stroll to a 3-0 lead, Mathew Myers converted a pass from Jeff Hutchins, Ben O’Connor and David Longstaff scoring on the Power Play.
David Clarke scoring a fourth goal on a penalty shot after he had been haulded down on a breakaway.
And Nottingham team-mate Corey Neilson, playing as a forward in place of the injured Colin Shields, scored his first goal in a GB uniform to make it 5-0. The Lithuanians did claw back into the game and broke Stephen Murphy’s shut out before the 2nd period ended when Lelenas beat the GB goalie. Lithuania scored a late goal through Slough Jets’ Darious Pliskauskas.
GB defenceman Danny Meyers didn’t play in the final period after a collision.
