Sheffield Steelers fans are rebelling over ticket price rises suggested by new owner Paul Ragan.
Some supporters claim they are being asked to pay more to watch the minority sport than for entry to Sheffield Wednesday’s Kop.
Dozens have complained about the above-inflation hike in around 1,200 season tickets - up £50 to a minimum £320 for adults - and £1.50 addition to £16 walk-up prices. Some kids’ prices are up too.
A six per cent admin charge for direct debits is also slammed as an ‘own goal’.
Some fans had expected a price DROP to be introduced.
They are now considering ‘cherry-picking’ games or watching lower-league Steeldogs instead.
Ragan could not be contacted last night.
