STEVE Munn will be back leading Sheffield Steelers' defence tonight against Edinburgh Capitals, following an eight-game absence through concussion.
It is a boost for the club after Wednesday's 7-1 home defeat by title favourites Cardiff Devils. The last time Steelers lost by that margin at the Arena was against Belfast in February 2006 - and this week's defeat has hit the club and its supporters hard.
Yesterday, Munn was cleared by medics to play.
They had earlier been concerned for his welfare, as this was the Canadian's third concussion.
"I am itching to get back and hopefully we can resume our hunt for the title" said the skater.
Third-place Steelers host Edinburgh Capitals tonight and travel to Coventy Blaze tomorrow.
