Ryan Mania, pictured above, was yesterday airlifted to hospital after a fall in a race at Hexham, only a day after his stunning victory on Auroras Encore in the John Smith’s Grand National Chase at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool. The 23 year old Scot was conscious as he was taken to RVI hospital in Newcastle. Today’s Racing card: See P47.
