Music in tune for race bid

Have your say

The horse ‘Set To Music’ bids to stretch her unbeaten run to five when she lines up for the DFS Park Hill Stakes at Doncaster tomorrow.

The Queen’s progressive filly takes her chance in Group Two company after completing a four-timer in the Galtres Stakes at York last month.

That Listed success came at her first attempt at a mile and a half and she now goes up to the St Leger distance of an extended mile and a three quarters. Michael Bell’s charge is one of three three-year-olds in the seven-horse field. Another is the Aidan O’Brien-trained Spin, who was fourth behind Set To Music at York.

The second and third that day, Richard Fahey’s Cracking Lass and the Clive Cox-trained Polly’s Mark, also do battle again. Card: See P39.
