TOP British pop band, ‘McFly’ are set to play live on stage after racing at Doncaster’s Saturday meeting which begins at 2.05pm.
The band, who have enjoyed considerable chart success in recent years, will take to the stage around 5.30pm.
The fully-sponsored seven-race programme includes races supported by The Crown Hotel Bawtry, Robinsons of Bawtry, PC Excavations Ltd, One Call Insurance, aricabeauracing.com, Universal Recycling and the family and friends of Anthony Estrin.
The principal race is The One Call Insurance Handicap Stakes – a £20,000 contest over seven furlongs.
This is Doncaster’s last meeting before next month’s prestigious four-day Ladbrokes St Leger Festival and tickets for both Saturday and the festival can be pre-booked from the racecourse office.
The giant screen, opposite the main stands will enable racegoers to see all the action. A shuttle bus service will runfrom the railway station.
