Former Arsenal and England international Paul Merson is joined by Sheffield Wednesday and England legend Chris Waddle at a star-studded sporting dinner next month.
The annual Youdan Trophy fundraiser – which is now in its third year – also welcomes Mark Saggers of Talksport and former FIFA referees Mark Halsey and Keith Hackett.
Comedian Jed Stone will MC the event which is aiming to raise thousands for local youth housing charity Roundabout and Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.
The event is at Sheffield’s Double Tree Hotel, Chesterfield Road South, on Wednesday, June 28.

More than 800 players from some of the world’s biggest football clubs will participate in this summer’s highly-prestigious tournament.
Representatives from Manchester United to Houston Dynamo, Newcastle United to FC Basel and Everton to Kawaski Frontale are lining up against quality opposition from as far afield as Iran and South Africa. The event will also feature teams from both Sheffield’s clubs Wednesday and United.
Sheffield-based You-Are-The-Ref.com - the world’s leading independent authority and education platform for match officials - are behind the creation of the competition which celebrates football’s first-ever tournament. The Football Challenge Cup was staged only once in 1867 at Bramall Lane and was sponsored by local entrepreneur Thomas Youdan.
The Trophy will be staged in Sheffield from Monday, July 3 until Friday, August 4 . U16 Group games will be played at Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park and U14 Group games at the Warminster Road facility of the University of Sheffield. Spectators are welcomes.
In addition, the inaugural Youdan Trophy Development tournament will be played from Friday, August 18 to Monday, August 21. It is open to all U12 (9V9) or U15 (11v11) clubs. More details: http://youdantrophy.com/development-2017
