LEE Westwood enjoyed a decent start to his Indonesian Masters title defence, opening up a two-shot lead in his opening round.
Westwood, the favourite, lived up to his pre-tournament ranking with an opening round of 65, good enough to put him two clear at the top of the leaderboard at seven-under.
Commenting on the Jakarta course, Westwood said that it had several difficult holes to overcome. “You have to be on your game all the time. Get a lot of fairways and you will get the chance to make some attacks.”
