FORMER Stocksbridge Park Steels striker Jamie Vardy added the finishing touch to Fleetwood Town’s FA Cup second round 2-0 win at League Two Yeovil last night to set up a third round home match against neighbours Blackpool.
Blue Square Premier side Fleetwood scored in each half to complete an impressive away victory in a match which saw both teams have a man sent off.
Jamie McGuire put the visitors in front in the 28th minute and the evening got worse for League One Yeovil in the 70th minute when they had Bondz N’Gala dismissed.
Fleetwood were reduced to 10 men when Steve McNulty received a red card, but Jamie Vardy doubled their lead in the 90th minute.
